Non-Ferrous Refining Agents

Application:During crude Lead pyrometallurgical refining, copper is the most challenging impurity to remove. Our company has developed and formulated a copper removal agent specifically for lead smelting refining. After copper removal, the copper content in the lead is reduced to below 0.0002%.

Property:

  1. Degassing Efficiency: Under standard lead smelting conditions, the degassing agent effectively removes molten slag from the lead surface, achieving a slag removal rate ≥90% to ensure lead purity.
  2. Melting Point: The melting point should be lower than the lead smelting temperature, typically between 420-480°C, ensuring the slag remover melts rapidly and reacts fully with the furnace slag.
  3. Volatility Rate: At lead smelting temperatures, the volatility rate is ≤5%, minimizing loss of the slag remover during use and reducing environmental destroy and pollution.
